Our People

We are one of the largest and most dynamic employers in Malta with over 1,300 employees. Our management team is young and highly motivated with a mix of both local and international experience in various aspects of transport.

Experience has shown us that a professional and motivated team of people is essential in providing a good service to our customers. For this reason we have started implementing a long term plan to improve our overall working environment and to improve our level of customer service. This includes more professional training focusing on safety, customer experience, and the environment.

We have recruited over 500 new drivers in 2015. This was challenging, but essential to bring the compliment up to the required levels in order to provide an efficient bus service. All our new drivers have been through rigorous training to obtain their international Certificate of Professional Competence.

In 2016, we are investing in a new driving simulator for Malta for the first time. This will enable us to compliment the traditional form of training and improve the overall behaviour and attitude when it comes to safe driving. It will also enable us to provide more specific training on special circumstances which cannot be easily replicated on the road.

We employ a number of professional mechanics and operational people. We encourage them to further develop their skills and to progress in their careers by providing training opportunities.

We believe that different cultures and diversity complement each other and lead to better results. For this reason we respect and value the individuality and diversity that each employee brings and have strived to build a positive, open, working environment.

We do not tolerate any form of discrimination or sexual, physical, mental or other harassment of any kind toward our employees, whether from our own employees or from customers, and we place the highest priority on the health and safety of our employees and the safety of the environment in which they work.
