Finding a station

There are 5 stations where you can find your Tallinja Bike in and around Valletta. All stations are located in proximity to historic sites, renowned museums, restaurants, cafès and the Valletta ferry terminals.

  1. Valletta Terminus

    The Valletta Terminus station is located right before the entrance of Valletta on the left hand side of the Triton Fountain. If you are coming into Valletta by ferry from Sliema, this might be your first stop, however if you are heading back from Valletta, the Valletta Terminus might be the ideal place to dock your Tallinja Bike.   2. St. George’s Square - Coming Soon

    St. Georges Square station is located in the heart of Valletta. From here, all museums, churches and historic landmarks in Valletta are within walking distance including, the Toy Museum, National Museum of Archaeology, the Palace Armoury, St John’s Co Cathedral, Jean De Vallette Square and many more. You may also just want to roam around the cobbled, narrow streets of Valletta where you will find plenty of old houses that have been converted into quaint, stylish bars and restaurants.

  3. St Elmo

    This is where the historic Fort St.Elmo is located. While in this area, you can also visit the National War Museum and The Knights Hospitaliers. From St. Elmo, you can also ride all the way to St Georges Square to get into the heart of Valletta. For a street view of the St Elmo station click here.

  4. Barrakka Lift

    Another station is located next to the Barrakka Lift leading to the Upper Barakka Gardens where one can enjoy a panaromic view of the Grand Harbour before going down. Once you head down the Barakka lift, you can visit Lascaris War rooms or head to the Valletta Waterfront which has a number of restaurants and cafès to choose from. If this happens to be your last stop in Valletta before heading to the South, you can dock your bike at this station and get the Birgu Ferry. For a street view of this station click here.

  5. Sliema Ferry - Coming Soon

    If St Elmo is your last stop before heading out of Valletta, you can return your bike at the Sliema Ferry station. If you are on your way to Valletta on board the ferry, then you might want to head first to the Valletta terminal station and explore the City, then take a bike from the station at St Georges Square and use the Barakka lift to get down to the Valletta Waterfront. After a coffee or light lunch break, you can then get another bike to go to St. Elmo, before taking the final trip back to get on the ferry to Sliema.
